Edward Hopper was once quoted saying, “If I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint.”

As the art tutor of ESCHEL, I hope to cultivate not only a love for art, but also help my students find their inner creator just as our Heavenly Father is a creator. My students should always walk out of class with a strong sense of satisfaction, along with learning and cultivating new art related skills.

My education includes a marketing degree from Chippewa Valley Technical College, and B.S. in Art Education from the University of Wisconsin Stout with a concentration in ceramics.

Home life remains busy with homeschooling, four kids and their sports activities, church, and our lovable goldendoodle Frankenstein. My youngest two kids are in their third year at Eschel, but this will be my first year teaching within the Eschel Co-op. Cheers for new beginnings!

I currently attend Glory Church in Lakeland and lead the Evangelism team, and am in the process of getting my foot in the door with the jail ministry in the St. Croix County jail. Hobbies I enjoy partaking of include sewing, cooking, gardening, or any other creative outlet that presents itself. I’ve also just begun a semester of Vietnamese for fun. I expect this to be a fun school year with our students and thank all of our parents that allow me to work with their kids.
